The Pittsburgh Steelers’ wideout Antonio Brown is recovering from surgery to repair his labrum.
He was in a walking boot on Sunday, and the team said that his status will be evaluated over the next week.
The Steelers’ official Twitter account said he’s “in good spirits.”
They have three days to assess his status.
Brown suffered the injury during a Week 8 win over the New York Jets.
The 24-year-old, who missed most of last season after tearing his left ACL in 2015, had been under contract through 2020.
He had five receptions for 81 yards and a touchdown last season.
