It may sound like a strange way to start a book, but the world’s first Airbus A330 transport plane, the first ever to fly across the Atlantic Ocean from Paris to London, will be available in November.
The plane, with seating for up to 150 people, is a major milestone for the company, which has struggled with supply constraints and high costs.
Airbus has now moved to a new strategy that focuses on the airline market, with its Airbus Group Europe and the Airbus Group Asia divisions, aiming to provide a high-quality service that is affordable and fast.
In a press release, Airbus Group said the Airbus A320-200 “is the perfect way to experience the wonders of aviation.”
The A320 is a twin-engine plane with an engine that is twice as big as the A380, the longest-range version of the Airbus aircraft.
The A350 has a single-engine design with a diameter of 4,500 feet.
The Airbus Group A320 has a seating capacity of around 150 passengers, and the A350 can carry around 500 passengers.
“This is the first step on a journey to the next level for Airbus,” said Airbus Group president and CEO Luca Guarneri.
“We are on a mission to redefine the way we transport people and goods, and we are now at a critical point in the evolution of our business and the world.”
The first Airbus plane to fly from Paris, the A320 was built in 1984 and is the last aircraft in the family.
Its production runs have been in constant decline, and Airbus Group has been building planes at a loss for years.
In 2015, the company announced it would cut about half its global workforce.
Airbus Group currently employs around 1,500 people in Paris.
The new Airbus A380 is the company’s first plane to make its first transatlantic crossing.
Airbus’ A350 will be the first Airbus aircraft to fly to London from Paris and will fly from New York to Singapore in December 2019.
The A350 and A350X have an average takeoff weight of 1,900 pounds (1,845 kilograms), and the cabin has an overall volume of 1.4 million cubic feet (2.1 million cubic meters).
The new A380 will be a single engine, twin-engined jet, and will be based on the A340 family of aircraft.
It will be able to carry around 900 passengers.
Airbus Group’s first new aircraft will arrive in November 2019.
